Samsung's first era Android working smartwatch, Galaxy Gear, includes a 1.63in Tremendous AMOLED display, single core 800MHz processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB storage and a 1.9 megapixel rear camera.
Galaxy Gear users can now root their smartwatches following our step-by-step guide. Together with rooting, the tutorial also installs Pie Controls on the smartwatch. Note that rooting the device will void the device of its producer's warranty.
Install the latest USB drivers for the Samsung Galaxy Gear.
Go to Settings > Gear info and faucet Software Model 10 times.
Enable USB Debugging mode.
You’ll must download Cydia Impactor, which is on the
market here. Extract it.
How To Root the Samsung Galaxy Gear Smartwatch
1) Sync your Galaxy Gear to your pc using the supplied USB cable.
2) Run Impactor.exe, which was extracted earlier from the Zip archive.
3) From the dropdown menu, select SuperSU su to/system/xbin/su

How To Install Pie Controls on Galaxy Gear Smartwatch
1) Download
APK Gear and extract it.
2) Connect your smartwatch to the computer using the provided USB cable.
3) Inside the apk_gear folder, shift-right-click within the background to get a pop-up menu. Select Open Command Prompt.
4) Sort the next commands into the command immediate:
a) adb install es-file-explorer.apk
b) adb install superuser.apk
c) adb set up xposed-framework.apk
d) adb install gravity-box.apk
5) Restart your Galaxy Gear smartwatch.
6) From the Apps menu, choose Xposed Framework and tap install, then yes.
7) Reboot the Galaxy Gear again.
eight) Now, from the Apps menu choose GravityBox, faucet statusbar tweaks and then pie controls.
9) Hit Allow pie and select always.
