This guide is for
Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7100) devices, please don't try this on different variants of this device, as always, Redmond Beats won't be accountable in case of any harm/lose done to your Galaxy Note 2. Proceed at your individual risk.
Earlier than getting started:-
This guide is simply applicable to Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7100) model.
Create a backup of your entire important data.
Set up Android USB Drivers on your PC.
Your device’s battery must be charged not less than 80% percent before starting the installation process.
USB Knowledge cable to connect your Samsung Note 2 together with your PC
Allow SB Debugging mode in your device by going to Settings -> Developer Options.
Updating Galaxy Note 2 to Official Android 4.4.2 KitKat (XXUFND3)
1) Download and extract the official Android 4.4.2 firmware, which can be found
here.
2) Download and extract Odin, which is available
here.
3) Launch Odin as an administrator.
4) Boot your Galaxy Note 2 into Download mode by urgent the Volume Down, House and Energy buttons together till a warning prompt appears.
5) Right click on Odin and launch the applying as an administrator.
6) Using Odin, set up the following information from the .zip archive downloaded earlier:
A) Click AP and choose the file with Code within the name.
B) Click CP and choose the file with Modem in the name.
C) Click on CSC and select the file with CSC within the file path.
D) Click on PIT and choose the file with .pit within the file path.
7) Navigate to the Choice submenu in Odin and verify Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time. Uncheck Re-Partition.
eight) Click Begin and the set up will begin.
9) When the firmware has completed flashing to your Galaxy Note 2, your phone will routinely reboot.
10) Once your Galaxy Note 2 restarts, you will formally be running Android 4.4.2 KitKat XXUFND3. Kudos.
